Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Backend Software Engineer to design, build, and scale backend systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable backend systems, including APIs and data processing pipelines
• Modernize and evolve the existing TypeScript/JavaScript legacy codebase
• Ensure scalability and reliability of backend systems to handle increasing data volumes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 7+ years of experience building and shipping high-quality backend systems
• 4+ years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) and 2+ years with CI/CD tools
• 6+ years of experience in strongly typed languages (C#/TypeScript/C++)
• 2+ years of experience with Docker and ETL pipelines
