Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Engineer with a focus on database management.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and create data architecture, including databases and data lakes
• Build and maintain data pipelines using AWS services
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering with a significant database focus
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM program (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, etc.)
• Extensive experience with AWS services including AWS Lake Formation, Step Functions, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, and RDS
• Strong experience with various database technologies such as MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL
• Proficient in programming languages including Python, Java, and Scala
