Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading data
• Maintain and improve server-side scripts, libraries, APIs, and SDKs
• Identify and implement system performance enhancements and automate manual processes

Required Qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience in a software engineering environment
• Knowledge of Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, or equivalent technologies
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Scala, Java, Python, or Golang
• Experience with CI/CD, containerization, and virtualization tools like Kubernetes and Docker
• Development experience with AWS and GCP infrastructure is an asset
