Senior Geospatial Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Geospatial Data Engineer to lead the design and implementation of scalable, cloud-based geospatial data infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructures for geospatial applications
• Lead the development and optimization of ETL processes for large volumes of geospatial and tabular data
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to deliver high-impact data products and ensure data quality and security

Required Qualifications

• Experience in software development, data engineering, or big data roles with a focus on geospatial data
• Proficiency in Python and experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL)
• Experience architecting and optimizing cloud-based data solutions (preferably GCP, AWS, or Azure)
• Deep experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects and mentor team members
