Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Geospatial Software Engineer to support federal clients in developing geospatial applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, resilient, and secure cloud-native geospatial applications on AWS
• Participate in the software development lifecycle, including user story generation, design, development, and operational support
• Improve code quality through reviews and adherence to team standards while collaborating with other engineers

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer with a focus on geospatial data
• Expertise in building data processing applications using Python
• Strong knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and cloud-native geospatial techniques
• Bachelor's Degree in a technical major or equivalent professional experience
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment as part of a small team using Scrum methodology
