A company is looking for a Senior Hadoop Administrator to manage and optimize Hadoop database systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Hadoop infrastructure, including installations, upgrades, and backups
• Collaborate with engineering and data delivery teams to set up new users and manage cluster performance
• Monitor security, connectivity, and log files while ensuring high data quality and availability

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of DBA experience required
• 5-8 years of Hadoop Admin experience required
• Strong experience with SQL and Spark
• Proficient in Linux OS
• Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field or relevant work experience
