Senior Information Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Information Security Engineer - Firewall Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and oversee security controls to protect computer systems, networks, and sensitive information
• Manage and maintain security tools and firewall policies, including DMZ setup and access control rules
• Integrate security tools and platforms through APIs and custom scripting to enhance automation and streamline operations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in information security or cybersecurity roles
• Security certifications from SANS, (ISC), or similar organizations are strongly preferred
• Experience with regulatory compliance standards such as SOX, GLBA, and familiarity with the CIS Top 20 Security Controls
• Experience implementing security controls across on-premises, cloud (AWS, Azure), and hybrid infrastructures
