Senior Java Developer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Java Developer with GemFire.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain Java-based microservices that leverage GemFire for distributed caching and in-memory data operations
• Contribute to the design, development, and deployment of caching strategies, regions, and query models using OQL
• Collaborate with architects on data partitioning, consistency models, and replication strategies

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Java and Spring Framework development (including Spring Boot, Spring Data)
• Hands-on expertise in GemFire / Apache Geode (configuration, region setup, OQL query development)
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and distributed systems concepts
• Solid grasp of design patterns and microservice architecture principles
• Experience with performance tuning (GC, heap, CPU/memory analysis)
