Senior Mainframe Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Mainframe Infrastructure Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain mainframe software and networking tools
• Administer and optimize CICS regions, MQ queues, and IMS subsystems for performance and availability
• Support and troubleshoot mainframe network connectivity and performance issues

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of hands-on experience in mainframe environments with expertise in CICS, IMS, and MQ
• Strong programming proficiency in COBOL, Assembler, and REXX
• Expertise in mainframe network protocols and tools
• Proven track record in managing full-cycle upgrades and troubleshooting complex issues
• Familiarity with cross-platform integration and modern z/OS components
