Senior Protocol Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Protocol Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement protocol features end-to-end, including building protocol level features in Rust and developing middleware contracts in Solidity
• Build, optimize, and scale services and contracts
• Collaborate with product and security teams to ensure systems and contracts meet security standards

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years as a Full Stack Engineer or equivalent experience, focusing on production-grade Rust services and Solidity
• Proven track record in building high traffic, low latency systems
• Strong proficiency with blockchain fundamentals and understanding of core EIPs on EVM
• Experience in building blockchain protocols (L1, L2s, bridges, etc.) and knowledge of security best practices
• Proficiency with AI coding tools
