Senior QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer for a contract opportunity with remote work options.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate integration testing across various products and platforms by collaborating with developers, QA, and product owners
• Design and deliver automated integration test suites for validating APIs, service orchestration, and data flows
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and maintain test code and test data management for scalability

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in QA Automation within enterprise software engineering environments
• Strong hands-on experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript based QA Automation Frameworks, particularly Cypress and/or Playwright
• Demonstrated experience in integration testing, including APIs and end-to-end data paths
• Practical experience testing RESTful APIs and setting up automated test runs for integration testing
• Working knowledge of containerized test environments, such as Docker, and ability to work with test orchestration
