Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Embedded Linux.

Key Responsibilities

• Improve the existing custom Linux OS for edge computers
• Develop features for faster and more accurate wildfire detection
• Drive decisions on new tools and patterns to enhance system reliability

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience and a BS in Computer Science or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience programming in Python
• Proficient in scripting with Bash
• Experience with embedded Linux operating systems and toolchains like Yocto or Buildroot
• Strong Linux fundamentals and troubleshooting skills in complex systems
