Key Responsibilities

• Design and scale backend systems for data infrastructure, including event-driven pipelines and APIs
• Lead the integration of new services and components for data and event processing
• Collaborate with teams to implement APIs that enhance workflows in clinical studies and digital health products

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience, with at least 2 years in data engineering or data-centric applications
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with PostgreSQL
• Hands-on experience with data streaming and event processing tools (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Proficiency in a data-oriented programming language such as Julia, Python, or R
• Experience with containerized environments and tools like Kubernetes and Terraform
