Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Backend Platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and extend core services and APIs for order management, catalog, pricing, subscriptions, and fulfillment
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate vision into technical execution and drive architectural decisions
• Operate services on AWS and Kubernetes, ensuring high performance, stability, and maintainability across the eCommerce ecosystem

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in backend/platform development
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with Django
• Deep hands-on experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL
• Expertise in API design (GraphQL and/or REST) and performance considerations
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices, preferably GitHub Actions
