Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer for a 5-month contract position in Clearwater, FL (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle development of embedded real-time safety-critical navigational software
• Define and design sensor management and navigational features, along with software architecture and coding for Realtime OS
• Coordinate unit testing, external verification and validation activities, and provide factory deployment support

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics
• 7+ years of experience in software engineering using C/C++
• Experience in developing embedded software in mission-critical environments
• Knowledge of software configuration management and change management practices (e.g., GIT, Jira)
• Familiarity with various software development lifecycles (e.g., waterfall, Agile)
