Senior Staff Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Staff Data Engineer (Go/Golang/Python).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design sessions with various stakeholders to document data solutions
• Evaluate new technologies and provide technical recommendations through POCs
• Coach and mentor junior data engineers while facilitating cross-team collaborations

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma with 14 years of experience, or Bachelor's with 10 years, or Master's with 7 years, or Ph.D. with 5 years of experience in software engineering
• Expertise in Golang and/or Python, API design, and cloud platforms like Google Cloud
• Familiarity with data architecture, observability concepts, and CI/CD best practices
• Experience with relational databases, Git, and large-scale systems
• Understanding of microservices, event-driven architecture, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
