Key Responsibilities

• Lead research and development initiatives to improve and scale Base's throughput
• Enhance execution and consensus client internals to extend system capacity and capabilities
• Drive technical direction and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project goals

Required Qualifications

• At least 10+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on scaling and protocols
• Proven leadership in scaling high throughput systems
• Understanding of EVM and client software internals
• Familiarity with database internals and high-performance database systems
• Knowledge of the Ethereum scaling roadmap and onchain technologies
