Senior Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Staff Software Engineer to enhance its SaaS-based Critical Event Management platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a team of full-stack developers and participate in sprint planning sessions
• Implement new capabilities within the platform and provide guidance to junior team members
• Participate in routine maintenance, software deficiency resolution, and learn new skills and technologies

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field plus 2 years of experience in a .NET or Java full stack environment, or a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience
• 1 year of experience with front-end development using JavaScript frameworks
• 1 year of experience working with DevOps automation tools, including Jenkins
• Experience writing scalable multi-threaded web applications and services
• Experience with search technology such as Solr, Elasticsearch, or similar in a cloud-based deployment environment using Agile and Scrum
