Senior Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr Staff Software Engineer, Backend.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction for back end systems and APIs responsible for data processing
• Contribute to architecture discussions and design reviews with the engineering team
• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust code while mentoring junior engineers

Required Qualifications

• Experience building products that leverage large scale data sets (Node.js/Typescript/React)
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems
• Experience with REST APIs and Agile development processes
• Ability to develop prototypes quickly and a strong sense of ownership
• Experience developing services for cloud-based platforms
