SOC 1 Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a SOC 1 Analyst to support a 24x7x365 Security Operations Center by monitoring security tools and assessing threats.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and triage cybersecurity events in collaboration with SOC team members
• Analyze security threats for managed services client networks and endpoints
• Handle incidents and escalate appropriately, including documentation and communication

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Demonstrated interest in cybersecurity through coursework, labs, certifications, or self-study
• 1-2 years of experience in cybersecurity and/or IT security, preferably in a SOC environment
• Experience with basic computer, networking, and security concepts
• BA/BS degree in a technical or engineering discipline is preferred
• Relevant certifications such as Security+, GCIA, or CISSP are a plus
