Social Scientist Researcher

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Social Scientist/Economist/Researcher.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement evaluations and research activities in collaboration with project teams
• Ensure technical rigor of project deliverables by supporting project teams in drafting and refining technical documents
• Support the technical professional development of staff through training sessions and individualized support

Required Qualifications

• Advanced degree in economics, econometrics, statistics, political science, public policy, public health, sociology, anthropology, or a related field; PhD preferred
• 3+ years of relevant work experience in designing and managing evaluations, quantitative analysis, and field research
• Significant experience with Stata or R; knowledge of additional programming languages is a plus
• Deep contextual knowledge and experience in the regions where the organization operates
• Fluency in French is preferred for candidates interested in specific office locations
