Software Engineer II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer II to join their Applications Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data processing pipelines using AWS Lambda functions
• Develop RESTful APIs using Node.js to serve analytics and business intelligence needs
• Implement ETL/ELT processes and optimize queries and data models in Amazon Athena

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of software engineering experience, with 1-2 years focused on data platforms
• Strong proficiency in Node.js for building REST APIs and serverless functions
• Experience with Python for data processing and AWS Lambda functions
• Solid experience with AWS Lambda and related core services
• Working knowledge of SQL and experience with Amazon Athena or similar query engines
