Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineering Manager for their Data Team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Data scrum team responsible for the external-facing Data API and drive architecture decisions for scalable data ingestion and processing
• Oversee development of APIs and data services, ensuring high performance and availability for restaurant operations data
• Manage distributed engineering teams, implementing development practices and driving technical mentorship for data engineers

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing remote engineering teams in high-precision environments
• Deep hands-on experience with MongoDB at scale, including performance optimization
• Extensive background in building high-throughput REST APIs and data processing pipelines on AWS
• 3+ years of experience leading teams in building enterprise data platforms or analytics APIs
• Understanding of restaurant/retail POS ecosystems and operational reporting requirements
