Software Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, Software Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leads and directs the work of others while owning strategy and implementation of products
• Responsible for key system design and integration decisions, ensuring quality and reliability of services
• Hire, train, and supervise engineering staff while coordinating with cross-functional teams to define roadmap and vision

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related quantitative field
• 5+ years in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a management or technical leadership role
• Experience in designing, building, and maintaining cloud-based web services and microservices
• Deep experience with one or more backend programming languages (Go, Java, Python, C#)
• Experience working in an agile development environment
