Staff Backend Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Backend Engineer to join their platform engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Main contributor to the expansion of the platform for web and data services
• Develop and maintain scalable and distributed backend systems
• Collaborate cross-functionally to design and implement features supporting AI platform expansion

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture
• Proficiency in Java or Scala, with strong knowledge of object-oriented and functional programming
• Experience with SQL and relational database development/administration, preferably PostgreSQL
• Strong understanding of data structures and asynchronous programming
• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
