Staff Backend Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer - Backend (Consumer, Wallet & Commerce).

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend services for wallet infrastructure, crypto transactions, and payment routing
• Build distributed systems ensuring high availability and low latency
• Lead architectural decisions and mentor backend engineers on best practices

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of backend experience in Go, Java, Kotlin, Rust, or similar
• 2+ years in Staff+ roles at a fintech or crypto startup
• Deep knowledge of payments and wallet infrastructure
• Experience designing ledger systems and building crypto or stablecoin rails
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture
