Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Engineer, Cluster to Cluster.

Key Responsibilities

• Spearhead the development of improvements to migration tooling focusing on performance, reliability, and data verification
• Define the future evolution of MongoDB migrations by collaborating with various teams
• Design, architect, build, and deliver key migration features for customers while improving the codebase and mentoring engineers

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on large-scale, distributed backend systems
• Strong systems fundamentals, including multi-threaded programming
• Familiarity with distributed systems and database internals
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider technology (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Proven experience in mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership
