Staff Engineer Tech Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Engineer (Tech Lead) to guide the technical direction and execution of core applications and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a PHP development team, mentor engineers, and promote best practices in software engineering
• Define and evolve the architecture of PHP-based services to ensure scalability and performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy PHP applications and platform components

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience architecting and developing large-scale PHP applications, preferably using frameworks like Laravel or Symfony
• Strong skills with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and caching technologies (Redis, Memcached)
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI, including automated testing and deployment
• Expertise in designing and securing RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
• Experience leading development teams and delivering complex software projects
