Staff Product Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Product Security Engineer to lead and advance product and application security initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement product and application security strategies throughout the SDLC
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to design secure architectures for applications
• Lead penetration testing, security assessments, and incident response related to products and applications

Required Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in cloud security engineering with a focus on application/product security
• Deep understanding of OWASP Top 10, secure coding, and cloud-native application security
• Strong grasp of NIST CSF and other regulatory frameworks
• Certifications such as CISSP, CSSLP, or GWAPT are a plus
