Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer, Onboard Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of features and optimizations for Clockwork in collaboration with various teams
• Identify opportunities to improve Clockwork's performance, reliability, and usability while evaluating tradeoffs in a resource-constrained environment
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of sensor interfaces that support the Perception system of the autonomous vehicle

Required Qualifications

• Strong C++ development experience is required, with some Python experience preferred
• Expert knowledge of software engineering and algorithm design principles
• Significant experience in developing high performance software systems for safety-critical applications
• Strong understanding of the POSIX programming environment, Linux, and concurrent programming
• Experience with common tooling such as Bazel and Boost
