Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer (Go/Golang).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop distributed analysis capabilities for diverse datasets as a senior member of a data engineering team
• Lead technical initiatives, mentor other engineers, and communicate technical vision to the organization
• Explore and implement relevant technology stacks while pursuing opportunities to present work at technical conferences

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and experience
• Proven experience in shipping and maintaining multiple major software product releases in Go
• Extensive experience in system design and architecture for large-scale distributed applications
• Experience with stream processing using Apache Kafka and designing RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with containerized application deployments and cloud-based infrastructure on major providers
