State Licensed Cytogenetics Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Cytogenetics Analyst to join their team remotely, focusing on Oncology Cytogenetics.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex technical procedures according to departmental SOPs
• Monitor and troubleshoot equipment and software to ensure functionality
• Analyze chromosomes, including imaging and karyotyping of cytogenetic specimens

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology
• Minimum 4 years of clinical laboratory testing experience
• Experience in Oncology Cytogenetics is highly preferred
• ASCP certification in Cytogenetics (ASCP CG) is highly preferred
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
