Job Summary

A company is looking for a Physician Advisor to work remotely in a full-time capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote efficient and effective clinical care for hospitalized patients through documentation review and communication with healthcare teams
• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and CMS policy regarding patient admissions and hospital stays
• Provide clinical expertise to manage patient populations and length of stay, while meeting performance and quality metrics

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Current, unrestricted medical license in the state of residence
• Experience building rapport with medical staff and hospital leadership
• Proficient in computer skills and EMR systems
• Availability to work remotely from 6 pm to 3 am EST, Monday through Friday, with weekend rotation
