Substation Protection Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Substation Protection & Control Engineer for a remote work position.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform relay protection and control engineering for high voltage substation and transmission projects
• Provide technical support and participate in project planning and execution
• Lead engineering activities, including design calculations and quality reviews for projects

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Experience level varies from 0 to 5+ years based on the engineering position
• Professional Engineer registration or ability to obtain it is preferred
• Proficiency with relevant codes and standards such as NESC and IEEE
• Experience in substation design and software applications for design work
