At Soccer Stars & Amazing Athletes of North Orange County, we offer high-energy, play-based sports programming for kids ages 12 months to 7 years. Our mission is to help children develop confidence, coordination, and a lifelong love for movement—all in a non-competitive, supportive environment. We're growing fast and looking for a creative, self-motivated content creator to help us share our story online.

Position Overview:

We’re looking for a part-time Social Media Content Creator to capture and create engaging Instagram content that highlights the fun, learning, and community behind our weekly classes and seasonal events. This role is perfect for someone who loves storytelling through visuals, enjoys working with children, and has a passion for youth sports or early childhood education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend select weekend classes and events to capture photos and videos
• Create engaging Instagram Reels, Stories, and posts aligned with our brand voice
• Write compelling captions that speak to parents of young children
• Organize and schedule content using tools like Later, Planoly, or native apps
• Assist in content planning for monthly campaigns, promotions, and spotlights
• Occasionally engage with comments, DMs, and tagged content

• Experience creating social content for brands (ideally in education, fitness, or child-focused fields)
• Proficiency with Instagram, Reels, and basic video/photo editing
• Strong visual eye and understanding of what engages viewers
• Self-starter who can manage their own time and projects with minimal oversight
• Comfortable being around children (ages 1-7) and parents in an upbeat, fast-paced setting
• Experience in Canva, Adobe tools, or simple motion graphics
• Background in child development, education, or related field preferred
