System Specialist IV

Job Summary

A company is looking for a System Specialist IV to support the development and maintenance of financial systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead or support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of mainframe-based financial systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including software bugs and system break/fix tasks
• Create and maintain detailed documentation related to code updates and issue resolutions

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in computer systems development or equivalent technical experience
• At least 3 years supporting the operations and maintenance of financial systems in a mainframe environment
• Proficiency with COBOL, DB2, IBM CICS on z/OS, REXX, and mainframe integration tools
• Hands-on experience with schema changes for DB2 z/OS and tools such as PanValet
• Strong analytical skills and advanced-level experience in data analysis and systems integration planning
