Job Summary

A company is looking for a Technical Specialist to enhance and maintain a mission-critical application.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and create solutions for Java upgrade issues in a Red Hat Linux server environment
• Analyze, design, code, test, and implement data windows in PowerBuilder to replace outdated spreadsheet formats
• Perform bug fixes and functional enhancements to the system and its interfaces

Required Qualifications

• 10 years of experience as a PowerBuilder developer using PB10 or more recent versions
• 10 years of development experience in Java, particularly with library and compatibility issues
• 10 years of strong SQL skills, with experience in any database platform
• 5 years of experience working in a remote software development environment
• Practical experience with all phases of the standard software development life cycle
