Technical Subject Matter Expert

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Portfolio Technical SME to support a large federal government project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertise in enterprise architecture and modular application development across multiple VA programs
• Lead the design and implementation of cloud-native microservices using modern frameworks
• Oversee CI/CD enablement and DevOps practices to ensure operational stability and scalability

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 8+ years of progressive experience in software development and technical leadership
• Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Batch, Hibernate, and microservices architectures
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and cloud platforms, preferably Azure
• Proven track record in Agile/SAFe environments
