Job Summary

A company is looking for a Technical Writer II to support NOAA by writing and editing scientific content.

Key Responsibilities

• Write and edit scientific materials to ensure accuracy and clarity
• Develop content for websites and social media platforms
• Collaborate with researchers and stakeholders to create compelling partnership stories

Required Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
• BA/BS in English, Journalism, or a scientific/environmental/technical discipline
• At least 8 years of professional and/or academic experience
• Advanced degrees or certifications may qualify for shorter experience periods
• Ability to translate complex scientific concepts into clear text
