Trading Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Trading Analyst - Battery Storage.

Key Responsibilities

• Support trading activities and administrative operations under the guidance of the VP, Trading & Risk
• Analyze and improve trading activities across markets, seasons, products, and conditions
• Assist in developing fundamentals-based price forecasts and optimize BESS trading strategies

Required Qualifications

• Minimum BA/BS in a quantitative discipline; Computer Science is preferred
• Minimum of 2+ years of applicable work experience in the energy sector
• Power settlement experience is strongly preferred; ERCOT and ISO-NE experience a plus
• Familiarity with battery energy storage systems is preferred, but not required
• Proficiency in Excel with Python, SQL, and PowerBI is preferred
