Transmission Line Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for Transmission Line Engineers - Mid to Senior.

Key Responsibilities

• Design transmission lines from 69 kV to 765 kV using PLS-CADD, including model development and verification of right of way requirements
• Collaborate with clients and vendors to determine project needs, optimize routes, and explore innovative design solutions
• Coordinate design teams to prepare project deliverables and provide engineering support during construction

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
• EIT Certification preferred
• Typically requires 3 years of experience in transmission line design
• Proficient in PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and foundation design software
• Solid knowledge of NESC, IEEE, ASCE 7, and AISC standards
