Job Summary
A company is looking for an Accounting Manager (EMEA) to oversee the regional finance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile the general ledger in accordance with UK/Irish accounting standards, ensuring timely statutory filings
- Deliver monthly management accounts, provide variance analysis, and support budgeting and forecasting across multiple entities
- Prepare and submit VAT returns, support payroll submissions, and collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors
Required Qualifications
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA (or equivalent) qualified accountant
- 4+ years of accounting experience with regional or international exposure
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS 102, with Irish GAAP experience being a plus
- Proven experience in cash management, general ledger ownership, and VAT compliance
- Hands-on experience with ERP/accounting systems and advanced Excel skills
