Underwriter I

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriter I to participate in the underwriting process through analysis of credit reports and business documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze personal credit reports, business bank statements, and other relevant business documents
• Research and provide background information on counterparties across various industries
• Assist in the negotiation of transaction terms and credit structure

Required Qualifications

• Diploma required; college degree preferred
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite
• Knowledge of financial principles and processes, including financial statement analysis
• Familiarity with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements
• Experience with administrative tasks
