Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriter Support Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Underwriting team, including collection and handling of loan documents
• Verify employment for prospective borrowers and review loan documentation for deficiencies
• Ensure loan files are complete and accurate using an inventory checklist

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience in the Mortgage Industry or similar field
• High school diploma required
• Entry level knowledge of residential mortgage industry and related guidelines
• Entry level to intermediate knowledge of MS Office products and Encompass
