Underwriting Associate

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriting Associate to support their underwriting team through data-driven risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze new business submissions, including revisions to existing quotes and binding policies
• Process bind reviews and communicate with Underwriters and Agency Partners to address inquiries and support quote revisions
• Maintain industry knowledge on workers' compensation and commercial auto lines of business

Required Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of one year of experience with commercial lines or relevant work experience
• Knowledge of web-based and cloud platforms; experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, and Google Suite preferred
• Experience verifying businesses using web-based research tools is preferred
• Ability to adapt quickly to changes in work processes and systems
