Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Consultant - Veterans Disability Appeals.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and summarize veteran claims files, analyzing medical evidence and identifying legal errors
• Assist claimants with drafting statements and medical opinion requests, and select appropriate medical documentation
• Mentor peers and support staff while maintaining confidentiality and processing claims accurately

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum one to two years of claims handling experience or equivalent
• Strong organizational skills and high level of initiative
• Excellent knowledge of Word and Excel
• Ability to learn and apply technical instructions
