Job Summary

A company is looking for a Virtual Medical Scribe for the Emergency Department.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble medical record documentation to support healthcare providers
• Virtually enter the patient room with the physician to capture and transcribe medical record documentation
• Update all components of the patient's medical record at the direction of the physician

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must be 18+ years old and authorized to work in the US
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screen
• Typing speed of 45+ WPM
• Ability to understand HIPAA regulations and maintain confidential patient information
