Job Summary
A company is looking for a Virtual Reading Assistant to provide reading support to a visually impaired Veterans Service Representative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Orally read aloud various documents including PDF and handwritten forms, medical records, and evidence files
- Review outgoing communications such as emails, letters, and attachments
- Assist in interpreting inaccessible interfaces across multiple VA systems
Qualifications:
- Must be customer-service oriented, professional, and well-groomed
- Able to work in a remote, secure, and distraction-free environment
- Prior work with visually impaired individuals or disability accommodations
- Familiarity with Veterans Affairs systems such as VBMS, CAPRI, or Point
- Experience in administrative, interpreting, or document review roles
