Release Engineer, Mapping and Auto-labeling

TEAM

The Map Delivery team is a culturally diverse team developing processes, automating workflows and guiding predictable delivery of map and data label products to support development of autonomous driving (AD) and advanced driver assistance (ADAS) systems.  We are customer-focused and hold the quality bar high as we scale our data production operations to support our downstream customers within Woven by Toyota’s AD/ADAS ecosystems.

• Coordinating and executing data delivery
• Operate automated data workflows
• Managing and tracking data artifacts through their life cycle
• Data review, grading and reporting
• Process development and associated documentation
• Development of  automated tools and utilities to improve workflow efficiency
• Provide first customer feedback for workflow tools and infrastructure
• Collaborate with an international team of engineers.

• Understanding of automotive mapping and data labeling fundamentals
• Ability to read, understand and fluidly communicate data format specifications and complex data models
• Experience with GIS, DBMS and Python software tools
• Experience guiding multiple concurrent deliverables and schedules
• A desire to positively contribute to a sustainable, collaborative and inclusive workplace

• Ability to identify business process improvement opportunities and iteratively enact sustainable solutions
• Experience with cloud computing environments such as AWS
• Experience developing or contributing to small to medium solutions with GIS, DBMS and Python software tools
• Hands-on experience with high definition mapping and/or data labeling product workflows

For positions based in Sunnyvale, CA, the base pay for this position ranges from $98,000 - $161,000 a year

Your base salary is one part of your total compensation. We offer a base salary, short term and long term incentives, and a comprehensive benefits package. The total compensation offered to an employee will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and level.
