Job Summary
A company is looking for a Manager, Writing Test Development.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the development of Writing test items and ancillary materials for assessments
- Manage test development staff and provide feedback on test items throughout the development process
- Coordinate pilot testing, field testing, and the creation of scoring materials for the Writing test
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field with at least two years of relevant experience
- Expertise in developing large-scale written English language proficiency assessments for K-12 multilingual learners
- Experience supervising test item development in a high-stakes context
- Familiarity with K-12 education standards and practices for multilingual learners
- Experience teaching K-12 multilingual learners in U.S. school contexts
